This listing is for the pre owned, but in good cosmetic and fully functional condition the ball will hold air completely, the ball is about 75% full right now. The ball is a vintage ball so I would not put a needle into the ball to pump it up, because vintage ball bladders are notorious for leaking if the seal is punctured after resting for years.
Authentic Pete Rozelle G Code Wilson NFL Game Used Football from the late 1960's - early 1970's time period. This rare vintage football comes with the vintage NFL graphics are cursive writing that was once displayed on every game ball years ago. The "G Code" signifies that this football was produced either just before or during the 1970 season the ball retired after the 1972 season.
The "Pete Rozelle" signature burned into the leather panel is still in fantastic condition as well. Pete Rozelle was NFL Commissioner for 29 years (1960 - 1989) and although an unlikely choice at the beginning he became the longest standing man to hold the job and was credited for many of the NFL's accomplishments over those decades.
