    Description

    This is a pair of vintage David Carr Jr Complete Insurance Service letter openers from Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
    Based on the phone numbers (CEdar 6-9031 and HGB-5931), these are from the 1940s to 1950s. I would estimate the white one to be 1940s and the pinkish one to be late 40s to 1950s.
    Both are in great shape for their age. The older one has a little letter fading but the pink one looks like it was never used.
    Wonderful vintage items and a great piece of Harrisburg PA history.
