NEUROPTERIS FOSSIL FOUND IN COAL MINES OF WESTERN PA

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE OFFERING.  UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF MY OTHER FOSSILS LISTED HAS A PHOTO OF THIS FOSSIL AS IT'S MAIN PHOTO BY MISTAKE AND I CANNOT DELETE IT.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE FOSSIL THAT YOU SEE IN ALL THE PHOTOS
Let me begin by stating that I know literally nothing about arrowheads, fossils or gemstones
My late husband was the collector, and at the time we lived in Western Pennsylvania
I BELIEVE HE BOUGHT THIS FOSSIL AND THE  COLLECTION OF PLANT FOSSILS I WILL BE LISTING --FROM AN OLD GENTLEMAN THAT HE WAS FRIENDS WITH AS THEY ALSO COLLECTED MILITARY ITEMS..
I CAN MAKE OUT SOME OF THE WRITING TO SAY :  NATURALIST AND CHICAGO ILLINOIS AND A GENTLEMANS NAME
He started collecting as a child and I can remember even when we dated that we could go out searching for arrowheads and fossils in McKees Rocks Pa, Moundsville WV, and places in Ohio
I now have approximately 8-10 containers filled with his collection but unfortunately no paperwork has been found
So bottom line is, I know these are authentic, however I cannot tell you what they are except in a few cases where I found similar items for sale on Ebay or when they are marked.  I am hoping that the photos will help you identify but if you need further help, please let me know.
