Four Italian Lire Banknotes – brought back from Italy in the early 1980’s. All were in circulation, so condition varies from very good to well worn. This set includes two 1,000 Lire notes (Mille Lire) (Pick 101f and 101h), one 2,000 Lire note (Duemila Lire)(Pick 103b), and one 5,000 Lire note (Cinquemila Lire)(Pick 105b). Long superseded by the Euro, these are still attractive notes and would make a nice start for, or addition, to an international currency collection. As a bonus, this collection will also include a Greek 100 Drachma note (Pick 200a). Notes will come in individual archival quality sleeves.
