Here is some fossil plant material from the world-famous fossil beds of Fossil Lake, Green River Formation, Wyoming. From the Eocene, 52 million years ago.
Undetermined as to the type of plant. It is about 2.9" at its longest length. The rounded plate it is on is about 5" at its widest, and it weighs 5.45 oz. Some vein structure is easily visible with a loupe.
