This is a great flat of THREE White Fossil Fern Plates from Pennsylvania. These distinct
fossils are from the now-closed location at St. Clair, Pennsylvania.
The large fern fossils are preserved as a thin film of white pyrophyllite on black shale - quite striking! The detail of the fossils is just amazing, and the individual fronds are nicely showcased and aesthetically spaced on the large plates of shale. And there are THREE different types of ferns preserved on the slabs!
This is a top quality assortment of classic white fossil fern fronds from the Coal Regions of Pennsylvania - very impressive!
