Collectible Vintage Metal Political Ruler "Elmer J. Hoffman" 1954

Description

For your consideration is a vintage metal ruler.  It reads "Compliments
Elmer J. Hoffman, Treasure State of Illinois, 1954".  It is in very good vintage
condition for its age.  It has a slight kink near the middle, see photos.  It has
a calendar dating from Jul-1954 to Oct-1955.
Wikipedia:
Elmer Joseph Hoffman was a U.S. Representative from Illinois.  Born on a farm
in Du Page County, near Wheaton, IL; Hoffman attended the public schools
of Wheaton.  He enlisted in the Artillery Corps during the First World War and
served in France.  Hoffman was elected State treasurer in 1952, reelected in 1956
and served until elected to Congress.  Born: July 7, 1899, DuPage County, IL.
Died: June 25, 1976, Wheaton, IL.
