Antique Circa 1880s J Clark & Co Thread Box Paisley Scotland Factory Graphic

You're bidding on an antique advertising piece - a small cardboard box, 5 3/4" X 3 1/2" and 1 1/4" deep - branded J. Clark & Co., one of the world's largest thread manufacturing enterprises of the 19th Century. The lid has a nice lithographic depiction of the Paisley Thread Works in Paisley, Scotland, the firm's home base. Probably circa 1880s or earlier.
Box is in good condition for age and type - some spotting and soil, but retains nice visual appeal. Lid does have one split corner - see photo - but overall still solid and functional.
